The Boston Triennial

CLIENT: THE BOSTON TRIENNIAL

PROJECT DATE: SUMMER 2025

LOCATION: METRO BOSTON

TYPE: PUBLIC ART ACTIVITY

Created as part of a collaboration with the 2025 Boston Public Art Triennial I designed this activation to compliment the Youth and Family Day programming in the Charleston Naval Shipyard, as part of the Boston Triennial in the summer of 2025.

The activation I created for them was based on the game of “I Spy” and was designed to be easily accessible for anyone between the ages 4 - 11, but it could also be used with any age.

The activation was created as a way to provide gentle prompts and increase youth engagement around a series of installations in the shipyard. The activities included all center around the act of discovery and creative thinking for both children and adults. It included colouring, a navigational guide, questions about the installed works, space for notes and reflection and information about the art visitors could experience.
