2025 and onwards!

2024 was a year full of growth, creativity and new opportunities! So what’s next!?

As The Art Walk Project heads into it’s fifth year my focus was mostly on expansion. It did incredibly well throughout the year with an increase in downloads and engagement and that is largely due to the continued support from the community. Ultimately one new art walk was introduced, The Jamaica Plain Art Walk.

I also celebrated a year of collaboration with GBH’s The Culture Show. It continues to be an amazing experience and over the last year we produced 11 segments where we discussed public art in Greater Boston area.

There were also a few other partnerships and opportunities that evolved over the course of the year. This included a creative cross country adventure in which I experienced some of the incredible natural beauty and public art across the country while I traveled from the Pacific North West back to Boston. There was also a partnership with The Fenway Alliance, guest speaking at Massart and I had the pleasure of jurying an art show at the Attleboro Arts Museum.

Where is 2025 going to take me? With the current state of things it’s hard to guess right now, there is just too much in flux. Forward momentum feels inevitable but the big question is how and when that will happen. Even with everything being so much more uncertain than previous years I have new ideas percolating and I am committed to continuing and hopefully expanding my projects for as long as I can.

So, as 2025 gets started I want to thank everyone again for all your continued support and patronage it means a lot to me.

I hope as the year goes on I will have more good news to share with you.

Best,

Julia
